AKITSUSHIMA

The Akitsushima is a seaplane carrier, the only purely warship sunk in Coron. Its role was to lift large flying boats (the Kawanishi H8K Emily) into the sea and either launch them or recover them. Lying on its side, the massive crane used to lift the seaplanes remains intact on the bottom. Inside, anti-aircraft guns and four massive engines are preserved, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts.

아키쓰시마(Akitsushima)는 코론에 가라앉은 유일한 순수 군함인 수상기 모함입니다. 대형 비행정 (가와니시 H8K 에밀리)을 크레인으로 들어 올려 바다에 띄우거나 회수하는 역할을 했습니다. 측면으로 누워 있으며 수상기를 들어 올리던 거대한 크레인이 바닥에 온전하게 남아 있습니다. 내부에는 대공포, 거대한 엔진 4기가 보존되어 있어 밀리터리 마니아들에게 아주 인기가 높습니다.
